IP/09/262 Briuselis, 2009 m. vasario 13 d.Programos „eTwinning“ internetiniai projektai – Europos mokyklų kūrybiškumo ir naujovių šaltinis„eTwinning“ – tai Europos Sąjungos programa, kuria skatinamas mokyklų bendradarbiavimas internetu. Gausus registruotų programos dalyvių būrys – apie 50 000 – ir nuolat didėjantis programoje dalyvaujančių mokytojų skaičius visoje Europoje patvirtina, kad randama naujų būdų tobulinti mokymą ir mokymąsi bei diegti naujoves šioje srityje. Šiemet vasario 13–15 d. Prahoje vyksiančioje kasmetinėje „eTwinning“ konferencijoje Europos Komisija apdovanos dešimt geriausių „eTwinning“ mokyklų projektų. Viena svarbiausių Europos Komisijos mokymosi visą gyvenimą programos dalių – „eTwinning“ – Europos mokykloms siūloma priemonių bendrauti, dalytis idėjomis ir internetu vykdyti bendrus projektus. Dėl bendravimą lengvinančių specialių interneto priemonių (web 2.0), „eTwinning“ pavyko suburti bendruomenę, kur mokytojai gali dalytis mintimis, kaip gerinti darbą klasėse. Nuo 2005 m. sausio mėn., t. y. nuo programos „eTwinning“ pradžios, sistemoje užsiregistravo 48 286 mokyklų mokytojai ir įgyvendinti 11 994 projektai, kurių kiekviename dalyvavo ne mažiau kaip po dvi skirtingų šalių mokyklas. Šiemetinė konferencija rengiama Prahoje vasario 13–15 d. Į ją susirinks apie 400 dalyvių iš visos Europos: mokytojai, centrinių ir nacionalinių programos „eTwinning“ administravimo įstaigų atstovai, kiti svarbūs suinteresuotieji mokyklinio ugdymo srities subjektai. Konferencijos tema – kūrybiškumas ir „eTwinning“. Konferencijoje pranešimus skaitys už švietimą, mokymą, kultūrą ir jaunimą atsakingas Komisijos narys Jánas Figelis ir lateralinio mąstymo ekspertas, Europos kūrybiškumo ir naujovių metų (2009) ambasadorius mokslų daktaras Edwardas de Bono. Konferencijos išvakarėse Komisijos narys J. Figelis paaiškino „eTwinning“ svarbą 2009 m.: „2009-ieji paskelbti naujovių ir kūrybiškumo metais, todėl tai puiki proga paminėti programos „eTwinning“ – kūrybiškumo švietimo srityje pavyzdžio – sėkmę. Mes turime skatinti kurti ir diegti naujoves švietimo srityje, kad gerėtų Europos mokyklų sistemų kokybė, didėtų jų veiksmingumas, ir taip padėti rengti Europos jaunimą ateities visuomenei ir ekonomikai.“ Svarbiausias konferencijos momentas – apdovanojimų iškilmės. Bus apdovanota dešimt geriausių 2007–2008 m. mokslo metų programos „eTwinning“ projektų. Apdovanojimai bus penkių kategorijų: pagal amžių (4–11 m., 12–15 m., 16–19 m.), pagal mokomąjį dalyką (matematika ir gamtos mokslai) ir specialus Prancūzijos pirmininkavimo Europos Sąjungai proga įsteigtas apdovanojimas už prancūzų kalbos puoselėjimą. Iš viso įvertinta per 500 projektų, atsižvelgiant į tokius kriterijus kaip inovacinis pobūdis, įtraukimas į mokymo programą, bendradarbiavimas, kūrybiškas IKT taikymas ir perimamumas. Dešimt finalininkų atstovauja 21 šalies (Airijos, Belgijos, Bulgarijos, Čekijos, Graikijos, Islandijos, Ispanijos, Italijos, Jungtinės Karalystės, Kipro, Latvijos, Lenkijos, Lietuvos, Liuksemburgo, Maltos, Rumunijos, Portugalijos, Prancūzijos, Slovakijos, Švedijos, Vengrijos) keturiasdešimčiai mokyklų. Pirmų keturių kategorijų nugalėtojai laimės balandžio mėn. rengiamą kelionę į „eTwinning“ stovyklą Graikijoje, o geriausių prancūzų kalbos projektų dalyviai gaus stipendiją prancūzų kalbos studijoms šią vasarą Prancūzijoje. The pupils from the two schools collaborate to produce films, which are used as a teaching tool when working with themes chosen from the syllabus. The media material is published and discussed by the pupils on the project blog. The jury said: Various ICT tools were included in the project in a purposeful way. The project fits in an international curriculum and could work as a model for various themes as well as for different school levels. The model of question- and comment-based project development as a basis for progressive inquiry showed the real pedagogical value of the project. The jury said: The panel thought that the basis of the project, an international theme, i.e, water, incorporated with an intercultural theme, i.e., fairytales, was innovative and appropriate. The partner choice is particularly appropriate since both partners can approach the subject with similar questions. Their idea was to challenge the creativity of the pupils in designing the puzzles while at the same time nurturing their mathematical skills. The jury said: The project demonstrated a very creative an innovative approach to implementing its objectives. The work consisted of two parts: in the first part, they outlined the changing of people’s food habits and tastes for the last fifty years; in the second part, they developed their own pizzeria business plans in order to develop their business know-how. The jury said: This project obviously made a significant impact on the participants and the entire community. The pupils were involved in practical work and discussing the real implementation of a novel idea. It's a fresh approach that works well with this rather difficult age group. Partners communicated via email (all collected in the TwinSpace), video conferencing and tried and evaluated each other’s games. This eTwinning project has served as a basis for a Comenius partnership project for some of the partners.
